Snack Bar members are responsible for making breakfast, at only $.50, for the clubhouse; they also offer lunch. Most Threshold members are poor and have little free choice in their lives. The opportunity to choose where to eat lunch, either in the Kitchen or Snack Bar, both for only $1.00, fosters dignity and self-worth.

Snack Bar duties include food prep, restocking, inventory, meal planning, cashiering, cleaning, and serving meals. The Snack Bar Unit has several duties outside of the unit as well, such as cleaning the bathrooms and caring for the grounds outside the building.
