Transitional Employment

The TE program serves as a bridge between Clubhouse work and independent employment. TE jobs are typically entry-level positions with local businesses in the Durham and Triangle area.  Work helps to enrich individual lives with a sense of purpose while combating stigma in the mental health community.

What is Transitional Employment?

  • TEs are designed to help you fill positions that may have a high turn-over rate.
  • Part-time position- usually 15 to 20 hours per week.
